OSIP RP2040 Dev Module
General Info
OSIP RP2040 Dev Module gives a playground for users to develope and prototype their own OSIP compatible modules
themselfs. Dev Module provides a double-sided 76x89mm 0.1” prototyping area, a RP2040 MCU and
provides ±12V, ±9V, ±5V and +3.3V rails for powering custom circuits made by the user.
Connectivity
Module uses DIN41612 compatible Type M 42+6 Pin Eurocard Connectors as all of the other modules. All 6 modular
connector slots can be configured with different connectors like the ones that can be seen below.
40A High Current Connectors (PCB and Solder Cup Types)
2.8kV High Voltage PTFE Connectors
50Ω/75Ω High Frequency Coaxial RF Connectors
Latest pinout diagram for currently used Backplane can be found here in the OSIP Backplane.
Data and Control
For connectivity with the onboard RP2040 a 12Mbps USB2.0, I2C and UART interfaces are available
alongside 5 GPIO pins with one of which having ADC capabilities. For any custom interfaces the user might want
to use there are 9 available connections in the backplane connector that have been broken-out to 0.1” header pins on the Module PCB.
